Webvak is a platform that provides teacher-made online flashcards tailored for visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners, with a special VAK (Mixed) learning mode. Our flashcards are designed to cater specifically to the needs of senior high school students at St. Joseph's College of Quezon City.
WebVAK do not collect data from the users because the website can function without gathering the personal information of the students and teachers. The project is specifically designed for SHS subjects and strands to avoid generality and ensure relevance to the target audience.
Accessing the Website: To access the WebVAK website, visit https://webvak.teleporthq.app/. Please note that the website is only accessible for SJCQC (Saint Joseph’s College Quezon City) accounts and for students that are enrolled in their Google Classroom subjects. These Google Classroom codes will be used to access the flashcards in each subject.
Signing in:
1. Visit the WEBVAK website;
2. Click on the “Get Started” button; and
3. Sign in your SJCQC account.
Accessing Flashcards:
1. After signing in, you will see two buttons: “Teacher” and “Student”;
2. Choose the “Teacher” button if you are a teacher at SJCQC and want to create digital flashcards for your students. You will put the code given by the team members to generate and create online flashcards; and
3. Choose the “Student” button if you wish to join a class from one of your subject teachers and use the teacher-made online flashcards.
Learning Preferences:
1. Once you’ve logged in as a student or teacher, you will have access to four learning preference options: Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, and VAK learners;
2. Choose your preferred learning style to access flashcards tailored to that style; and
3. Explore and engage with the content to enhance your learning experience.
WebVAK offers a unique feature that combines the three main learning styles into one, providing a comprehensive learning experience for users. This feature enables users to engage with content in a way that aligns with their individual preferences while also incorporating elements from other styles to promote holistic learning.
